Make Your Own Polar Land Book

Use what you know and what you can find out about the Arctic and Antarctic to make your own book about polar land. You can make a book simply by cutting and pasting pictures on pages or drawing your own pictures on pages and then stapling the pages together.

Or you can use this cool free tool to make your book. You can have up to 10 pages in the book you make with this tool. You'll need to play around a bit to figure out how it all works. Remember, the only way to save your book is to print it out.

Some ideas to make your book better:

  1. Decide what you want your book to be about: Arctic land, Antarctic land, or both?
  2. Have a cover for your book. One page with a title and maybe a picture or drawing. Some ideas: My Trip to the Poles, Our Poles: What's the Difference?, or maybe Earth's Lands of Ice and Snow.
  3. Make a list of things you want to include in your book like: Antarctica is a continent, the Arctic is mostly ocean, polar bears live in the Arctic, penguins live in the Antarctic and other things that are the same or different about Earth's poles.
  4. Be sure to check your spelling and punctuation.

Have fun and share your book with your classmates.
