Live Video Chat - Sea Level Rising (Jan. 25, 12pm ET)

 

Students have the opportunity to ask questions of NASA oceanographer and climate scientist, Dr. Josh Williams during a live video chat. Dr. Williams is currently serving as the lead project scientist for the Jason 3 project, and will answer questions about the effects of sea-level rise and climate change. Free Plant Phenology and Climate Change Online Course for K-12 Educators (Applications Due Feb. 10; Course Feb. 15-March 14)

 

The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is offering a new online course for educators focused on its successful citizen science program - PBB-501 Project BudBurst: Introduction to Plant Phenology and Climate Change. This course is suited for both formal and informal educators, and provides all needed information to implement Project BudBurst in the classroom while engaging students through learning about plants and climate change.
