--ESSEA is a NASA and NSF supported program implemented by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies to improve the quality of geoscience instruction for pre-service, middle, and high school teachers.
--ESSEA increases teachers' access to high-quality materials, standards-based instructional methods and content knowledge.
--The inquiry-based courses are providing teachers with the content knowledge and tols they need to incorporate Earth system science topics, which are selected by the course instructor.
